Why bother eating veggies?

Your mother was right – you should be eating about 8 servings of vegetables and fruit every day to get the vitamins, antioxidants and fibre your brain and body need to flourish.  Plus – as the above photograph shows – they’re pretty!!

Throw them in soups and stews and omelettes if you need to hide the taste.  Fresh is best, but frozen or canned are good too and its good to always have some available so you  can easily throw them  in to add a nutrient kick to  your kitchen concoctions.
